So today marks P82X ... some nice Yoga moves today mixed with some Kempo Karate, definitely a great workout. I really need to keep stretching everyday - keep those muscles expanding. It is difficult sometimes when most of your workday is sitting in front of a computer, but try and take frequent trips to the water machine, go and speak with your co-worker as opposed to email - get your body moving! Every little thing helps.
Yesterday I did P90X in the morning and was able to play basketball at night. I felt pretty good playing, but this morning was a a little difficult-- aches, soreness especially in my hamstrings, glutes and calf muscles. Also the deltoids and lats are sore. But all in all feel pretty good. I'm going to get some oatmeal for breakfast, and probably a salad or hearty soup for lunch.
Make today a day where you promise yourself that you will do 2 things:
1. Be Nice to someone - as my Pastor always says "sometimes it's just nice to be nice." think about a time when someone was kind to you when you were feeling down. The person may have had no idea, but just being kind to you helped you out that day.
2. Get better at something today - whether its a skill at work, or making better decisions at lunch time, try to improve at something. Try to improve your communication skills, improve your relationship with someone, whatever it is --- get better!
